Having grown up in the world of show business, Louis Clair studied the methods and techniques of light and shadow. He began his career as a sales technician,  in 1968, Louis returned to the Cinematographic Industry to take the technical direction of the Victorine Studios in Nice. During that time, the studios opened a department of stage lighting and festivities, serving the surrounding municipalities.

From 1974 onwards, Louis created a distribution channel specialised in ornamental lighting and launched ultra low voltage lighting and halogen lamps which  generated decorative lighting effects of “drama and psychedelic.”

In 1978, Louis opened the french branch of a large German company which manufactured interior lighting solutions, thus becoming a pioneer of architectural lighting in France …

In 1983, Light Cibles was born.
